LOIC DDoS Attack Tool

LOIC or Low Orbit Ion Cannon is one of the attack tool used by internet hacktivist organization Annon. This tool is generally used for Distributed Denial of Service attacks also known as DDoS attack. The tool sends malformed packets spontaneously causing the server to crash. Please search google to get it, since I cant post it here. Use at your own risk. Cyber War or Electronic Warfare

Technology is advancing and internet is expanding to no limits. Cyber war has already began and it started with espionage by different countries. The most critical is NSA spying on the US citizens and foreign networks. Technically cyber war may refer to hacking on server to gain access to information, and exploiting them. Sometimes hackers may attack governmental websites and servers. The most advance and most among of the computer virus was /is the Stuxnet, conspired to be developed by USA and Israel to attack Iran nuclear program. It exploited zero day vulnerability. The malware installed rootKit that affected the nuclear centrifuge spinning rate causing 800-1500 centrifuge damaged. This was first reported by KasperSky LAB. The malware called "Flame" is the product of flame. It is clear that US and Israel will do anything to get information on Iran nuclear program.

 
        There are many examples of such attacks. In 2014, a bunch of government backed elite hackers from North Korea targeted Sony Entertainment, causing massive damage and leaks. This is just the start of dawn of new type of warfare and no a single country will be spared.       

TP-Link to AirOs Firmware Flash

Below is the complete tutorial for changing firmware of Tp-link 5210 G to AirOs. I am not responsible for any damage thus sustained. Please read or watch video carefully before doing any thing. Make sure you don't turn off the device during this whole process. Power fluctuation may kill the device.

Advantage of tl-Wa5210 hardware is that it has 12dBi gain which is greater than legacy NanoStation. And also Tp-Link has provided better thunder protection. But its original software sucks since channels are limited. With AirOs we get wireless freedom.

New Ubiquiti Discovery Tool Written in C#

Previously I posted a discovery tool that needs java to run and its not so very convenient. Some developers have written it again for windows. Thanks to them. I have used and found it very effective. It works like charm when your device is in "Bridge Mode".

WinPcaP

WinPcap (windows Packet Capture) is a free API(application programming interface) for capturing network traffic. If you are installing dummper or Zenmap or other sniffing tool then you need to install this software.
Monitoring software may use libpcap and/or WinPcap to capture packets traveling over a network and, in newer versions, to transmit packets on a network at the link layer, as well as to get a list of network interfaces for possible use with libpcap or WinPcap. C++ programs may link directly to the C API or use an object-oriented wrapper.

Ubiquiti AmpliFi

Some time ago Ubiquiti networks released mFi, a home automation/IOT solution. But it didn't  gain market as expected.

Now Ubnt has released its new product-line, the "AmpliFi" set of devices that are aimed towards home automation / IOT.  One of the contrasting feature of the device is that it supports MESH network with incredible speed and its easy to setup. They are like "Smart Home Routers". Though Mikrotik RB2011has touch LCD screen like those of AmpliFi device, they are quite expensive. So it just the beginning of these smart devices.
